still lifes on vice
It has been a long time since I have seen something refreshing on Vice Magazine. It has been either Ryan McGinley or Richard Kern or Terry Richardson nudes on the cover. At their photo issue 2010, Vice makes a room for contemporary still lifes from various artists like Roe Ethridge (the cover), Daliah Spiegel, Holger Niehaus, Richard Kern… Enjoy.

united visual artists
“United Visual Artists” AKA “UVA” are an international collective specializing in the medium of light. The collective have worked with numerous artists such as Massive Attack, Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers, Vivienne Westwood and more.
All the installations and visuals are coded by these young and very creative artists. If you have been in a Massive Attack concert you will understand what I mean.
The Creators Project now interviews UVA. You can see how the magic happens. Click here.
james powderly

I recently found out about James Powderly – artist/engineer/designer – from The Creators Project. I wish I had seen his work sooner. It is amazing, combining engineering with street art and politics. He is travelling around the world, creating his work with tecnology, combining it with architecture and has politic messages.
His interview is a must-see.
You can follow him from The Creators Project.

The video is pretty interesting, done by The Creators Project – a new network that Vice and Intel working on, dedicated to the celebration of creativity and culture across media, and around the world .
The most interesting part of the interview is where Ronson is talking about his stories of technology like viral videos to promote Circuit Breaker and Twitter.
